The Küchenschnibbler features a special inverse detent locking mechanism. The blade clicks into place inside a mechanism in the handle and operates similarly to a slipjoint knife. The knife features an elegant handle with a lanyard hole at the end. All models come with a black G10 backspacer, and stainless steel liners.
